Actor Vicky McClure CBeebies Bedtime Story Draws a Full House at Gloworm Festival

Nottingham legend Vicky McClure had a full house for her first ever appearance at the Gloworm Festival this weekend.

Thousands of families had an epic time at the 8th edition of Gloworm as the long running family festival took up residence in the beautiful setting of Holme Pierrepont Country Park.

Organisers were delighted with the reception to the festival’s new home, with 20,000 taking advantage of the accessible location on the outskirts of Nottingham.

Festival organiser Rebecca McGlone said: “We’ve had such a wonderful weekend at this years Gloworm Festival.  It’s always a pleasure to see lots of smiley happy families enjoying the activities and entertainment we have on offer. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our main sponsor, Playmobil UK, along with all our other sponsors, partners, traders, suppliers, contractors and of course our amazing customers. Gloworm wouldn’t be Gloworm without them.”

Main stage action from children’s TV stars, character meet and greets, all the fun of the circus, a vintage fairground, creative play and workshops, live music, DJs and raves, outdoor play, adventure activities put together another fantastic programme for Glowormers.

CBeebies Maddie Moate and Andy Day led the main stage action in the day with N Trance closing the show. The festival is action packed from start to finish and is proud to offer access to all the entertainment including fairground rides during the day within the ticket price.

Early bird tickets for 2025 are on sale next week with packages for camping, glamping and hotels giving exclusive access to Friday night entertainment.
