An Evening with Alan Shearer

Football fans the world over will know the name Alan Shearer. Still the Premier Leagues all time top goal scorer, with a staggering 260 goals, despite retiring seventeen years ago, the Euro 96 golden boot winner, all time record goal scorer for his beloved Newcastle United, Shearer is one of footballs all time greats, with his one armed goal salute becoming an iconic celebration copied on playgrounds across the UK during the 90’s.

Since hanging up his boots Shearer has carved a successful career in punditry and is a regular on BBC’s Match of the Day alongside fellow goal scoring legends Gary Lineker and Ian Wright and now, for the first time he is heading to Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall for a an exclusive live on stage ‘Evening with’ event.

Take a trip down memory lane to where it all started at Southampton to leading unfashionable Blackburn Rovers to the premier league title and then an, at the time, world record move to his home town side Newcastle United, and then to life after football.

This exclusive two part live unscripted interview with Big Al will offer you a never before heard look into the life of one of football’s greats.

An Evening with Alan Shearer takes place at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 21 May – more information and tickets are available here
