Over the past few months Lee Wallis Events have put on a selection of great “An Evening with…” nights at The Approach, with cast members from This is England and Red Dwarf paying visit for sell out shows at the venue, now several cast members from one of the biggest shows on TV are heading to the Friar Lane venue in September for what promises to be a great night for any fans of fantasy.
For those that don’t know – where the hell have you been? North of the Wall? – Game of Thrones is the huge hit HBO TV show based on author George RR Martin’s hugely popular series of novels A Song of Ice and Fire. The stories follow the War of the Five Kings in the land of Westero’s and it’s lashes of violence, treachery, fragile alliances, powerful characters, brilliant dialogue – and a dash of excessive nudity, have helped it become one of the biggest shows on television.
Now seven members of the show’s sprawling – and rapidly changing cast – will be heading to Nottingham for a night of questions, chat and signing sessions in what is set to be a hugely popular event.
Attending the event, which takes place on the 5th September will be:
Miltos Yerolemou – Milto’s plays SYRIO FLOREL, a Braavian swords master who Ned Stark enlists as “dance teacher” for his youngest daughter Ayria during season one. Other TV credits include appearances in hit British shows My Family and Black Books.
Nathalie Emmanuel – Natalie is perhaps best known for her three year stint as Sasha Valentine in C4 teen soap Hollyoaks. She joined the cast of GoT in season three as MISSANDEI becoming a helpful hand maiden to Daenerys.
Gemma Whelan – Gemma joined the cast of the show in Season Two taking on the role of the fiesty and tough YAYA GREYJOY, sister to treacherous former Stark ward Theon. Yaya made fleeting appearances in Season Three and is set to have a much bigger role in next years Season 4. Gemma has previously appeared in movies The Wolfman and Gullivar’s Travels.
Finn Jones – As dashing young knight SER LORELL TYRELL, Finn is a key part of the goings on at King’s Landing being brother to queen-in-waiting Margaery. Tyrell is set to become a much bigger party of proceedings in the coming season. Finn, like Nathalie, has also previously appeared in Hollyoaks.
Eugene Simon – Eugene, who also appears in Nikelodeon show House of Anubis plays the role of LANCEL LANNISTER, who despite being only a small part of the goings on so far is set to have a much bigger role over coming seasons as a member of the ruling Lannister clan.
Josef Atlin – Josef, who has a fine CV of appearances in a host of top British TV shows, plays the role of PYP, a member of the Wall defending Night’s Watch and friend to Stark bastard Jon Snow.
Gethin Anthony – As RENLY BARATHEON Gethin played a key role in the early season’s of the show, youngest brother of King Robert, Renly was a complex character forced to hide his true feelings in a bid to promote the right image. Gethin’s previous credits include Holby City and Doctors.
So that’s SEVEN members of the cast spanning areas such as King’s Landing, The Wall and even across the Narrow Sea, all set to pay visit to Nottingham on 5 September to talk about their time on the hit show.
There will also be a signing session with the cast members with the opportunity to purchase a signed montage pic of all seven cast members for just £15 – only 200 available – offering you the chance of picking up a fantastic memorial of the night.
Tickets for the event are £30 and are available now, and with tickets set to go fast it’s advised that you grab yours as quickly as possible.
