Move over Meghan because I’ve been royally pampered right here in Nottingham!
I was invited south of the river to have a look around Beauty Temple in West Bridgford. Whilst they obviously offer Royal relaxation for fit for a King for our fellas and pamper parties for little princesses, I joined my Queens for an evening of candy floss, Prosecco and of course pampering at the newest of the groups luxurious salons. They also have a salon in the City Centre as well as one at Mapperley.
It was easy to spot as I drove into the public car park opposite. Pink outdoor seating and gorgeous blooms gave it away, as did several bloggers sipping Prosecco and nibbling on savories whilst glued to their phones capturing festival ready glittered faces and plaited hair, just two of the treatments on offer at our special Royal party.
I opted for a relaxing hand an arm massage. Any massage is never long enough in my mind (except maybe that one I had in Gambia a few years ago, but let’s not talk about that now) but I could have enjoyed this scented treat all night sat inside the beautiful salon which is finished in shades of pink and grey with flowers and leaves heavily featured which give it a very fresh, girly feeling.
The pedicure seating is to die for; baby pink velvety arm chairs to relax in while your own pinkies are receiving that overdue much needed attention. I want these stylish thrones in my lounge.
The salon offers a full range of top to toe Beauty treatments as well as a blow dry bar offering, obviously blow drys, they also offer up do’s, cuts – including the ‘Chelsea Blow Dry’ – named after Kate Middleton’s bouncy luxurious bounce, as well as hair extensions and colour cocktails for colour treated hair.
After your treatment you can treat yourself further with a tipple at the stylish bar, or gather your Queens and let your hair down for a catch up over a Bottomless Prosecco Manicure or Blow Dry!
An entire section of the gorgeous salon can be hired out exclusively for your own Royal bespoke party if you prefer, with a range of fantastic packages at great prices. You can even take tea like the Royals and enjoy yummy cakes, the finest tea and of course, pampering.
You can enjoy the Royal VIP treatment for £69 per year with a membership package which contains over £220 in benefits.
We were given a fab goody bag to take away with us containing a bronzer from the British boutique range, Delilah, a capsule collection of carefully formulated cosmetics which offer women a touch of understated luxury, as well as a HD pro brow pencil and sharpener. The added bonus was candy floss, because, well I’m sure the Royals love stuffing their faces with a nostalgic sugary treat as much as we do!
