East Midlands home improvements company goes for growth with senior hire
Nottingham-based home improvements firm, Stormclad, has appointed Paul Young as its new sales and marketing director to lead the company’s ambitious strategy for growth.
Paul, who lives in Nottingham, brings eight years of industry experience to the team, having previously worked at Stormclad as sales designer for six years before moving to another firm.
In his previous role, Paul was top producing sales designer at Stormclad for four years in concession and returns in his new position to oversee the sales and marketing teams to generate all possible opportunities for profitable revenues.
His aim is to train and coach existing sales designers, passing on his experience and knowledge of niche home improvement products such as timber windows, solid roofs for conservatories and timber look UPVC windows.
On his new appointment, Paul said: “Having previously worked at Stormclad, I was very keen to come back on board in a new role to help drive the company forward. The firm has great potential and I believe that my passion and enthusiasm to introduce new products, consolidate existing products and improve services to customers will contribute to the company’s vision for growth and brand development.
“Unrivalled service and niche products to widen the product range for prospective customers is what we want to provide – I want customers to come to us not just for the products we offer, but also for the peace of mind they get from dealing with a reputable company.
“I have been made very welcome by the directors John Evans and John Brocklehurst and by all staff and sales designers, and in the first few weeks of starting here, I can already see a change in the atmosphere throughout the company. Although there is a long way to go, I am confident that the next few months will show immediate growth, both in sales and in consumer confidence in the company.
Managing Director, John Evans, said: “We are so pleased to welcome Paul back to the company in his new role. With his wealth of experience and professionalism, he will be the driving force behind the firm’s progressive marketing and sales strategy.
