The highly anticipated East Midlands Student Fashion Awards is delighted to welcome TV personality and designer royalty, Patrick Grant as lead judge this year.
Renowned for his appearance on the popular BBC programme, The Great British Sewing Bee, Patrick is the latest in a line of celebrities to join the East Midland’s emerging fashion talent at the annual FASHANNE Awards on 21st June in Nottingham.
Alongside Patrick this year are Paralympic double Gold Medallist, Richard Whitehead MBE and BBC weather presenter, Lucy Martin. They will both be strutting their stuff on the runway in support of the show’s pioneering move to champion inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry.
Patrick will be one of six high profile judges and is delighted to be part of this innovative and exciting event. He said: “We have an amazing record of producing creative talent in this country. I’m thrilled to be supporting the next generation at this year’s Fashanne Awards in Nottingham.”
The East Midlands Student Awards, now in its third year, was founded by TV personality and news presenter, Anne Davies and is the first awards event to showcase the very best in fashion talent across the region.
Anne Davies added: “We are delighted to have Patrick on board as our lead judge. Patrick’s talent is obvious and with such a fantastic career in the industry as well as on TV, many fashion students already see him as a great source of inspiration.”
