Food: A Taste of Purecraft Bar and Kitchen

Guests enjoying the event

Purecraft Bar and Kitchen on St Peters Gate, one of Nottingham’s latest food and drink venues, has hosted some special events to introduce people to their extensive range of craft beer and fresh food.

At the Meet the Brewers event, guests had the opportunity to meet the brewers from Purity, Tiny Rebel and Rooster and hear from them as well as to sample nine different beers alongside Purecraft’s bar snacks and food accompaniments.
Amongst the attendees was Michelin-star chef Andreas Antona who is a director of Purecraft and who oversees their food offering.

At the second event – a Taste of Purecraft – beers were paired with sample dishes from their menu. These included green tea seared tuna, mac n cheese, crispy pig cheeks, spinach and goats cheese tortellini and bavette steak with triple cooked chips, all accompanied by a range of beers.

“It was great to welcome people to Purecraft and give them the opportunity to experience what we have to offer,” said Martin Hilton, managing director of Purecraft. “Matching great beer and food is our passion and it is proving to be very popular, with many people who came to our first events, already booking to return, confirming that they like what we offer.”

The next event is a special Beer and Food Pairing event which takes place on Thursday 30 June with, sea trout and pork belly amongst other dishes, on the menu.
