A new bar and grill opens at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Saturday 13 August 2016 ahead of the venue’s busy event season. Encore Bar & Grill is located in the foyer of the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and will offer a delicious and authentic American bar menu. Seasonal craft beers and premier lager have also been introduced.
Previously known as the T&D café, the space has undergone an extensive refurbishment and rebrand over the past six weeks. The interior of the old café and its surroundings has been completely stripped out and replaced with a new bar which has doubled in size, new flooring and toilets have been installed, and feature lighting and new furniture have been added.
The industrial design with exposed brick and brushed metal, along with plush sofas, and a grey and neutral colour scheme gives the space a laid-back, urban feel which connects with the current landscape on the high street. Coupled with an exciting new menu which includes sharing platters and pulled pork, Encore Bar & Grill is the perfect choice for diners within the vicinity, as well as Arena customers visiting for events and ice hockey matches, and for those visiting or skating at the National Ice Centre.
The refurbishment was a joint venture between the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and its contract caterer, Levy Restaurants.

As well as a brilliant new menu, we’ve been able to add more tables and chairs so we can accommodate more customers, something that’ll be especially helpful during event nights. We’ve also doubled the size of the bar so there will be more staff to serve drinks and extra till points to process payments. Overall, the refurbishment and redesign will enhance the customer experience and offer a great environment for customers so we’re very happy.”
