You won’t need to spend long in Nottingham before you realise just how many great restaurants, bars, pubs, delis and cafes that the city has to offer.
Nottingham is renowned for being a food and drink hotspot on a local, regional and national level with exciting new venues opening all the time.
So to celebrate all things tasty, the Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID), has created Taste Nottingham, an It’s in Nottingham initiative which will take place from Monday 27 June to Thursday 30 June.
During this four day extravaganza you’ll be able to enjoy some delicious offers and exciting events, including the first ever Moving Feast: a three-course meal which will take you across the city centre to different venues for the ultimate dining experience. Tickets are £25 each and include food and some accompanying drinks as well as parking or a return bus ticket. Places are limited so be sure to book your place.
You can also save on eating and drinking with offers, discounts and special menus from many of Nottingham’s food and drink businesses. From coffee and cake to tantalising Thai, there’s something for all occasions, taste buds and budgets.
Enjoy a night out at one of the city’s safe and well run Best Bar None accredited venues -look out for the Best Bar None sticker in windows of accredited city centre venues. The city’s top Best Bar None venue will be crowned at the Nottinghamshire Food and Drink Awards on 22 June along with the winner of the best city centre experience category.
All the details of the events and offers have been brought together in a specially-created food and drink guide, which will be delivered to homes across the region and at businesses in the city centre.
Tom Waldron-Lynch, vice chairman of the Nottingham BID, said: “With more food and drink businesses than ever before in Nottingham, there’s never been a better time to take a trip into the city to sample what we’ve got to offer.”
