Stonebaked Pizza Co will become the newest addition to Nottingham’s thriving food and drink scene when it opens at intu Victoria Centre’s Clocktower dining later this year.
Unlimited pizza toppings, build your own salads and a ‘freestyle’ Coca-Cola machine where customers can create their very own soft drink – and even devise a recipe at home via a dedicated app – are among what visitors to the new restaurant can expect.
Nigel Wheatley, general manager at intu Victoria Centre, said: “We’re really excited to announce that Stonebaked Pizza Co will be the next restaurant to open at Clocktower dining; it will bring something different to the centre.
“The restaurant is set to open later this year and we are certain that it will be well received by our customers, who have responded very positively to the other eateries at Clocktower dining and the centre remodelling as a whole.”
The restaurant will join Joe’s Kitchen, Ed’s Easy Diner, Thaikhun, Tortilla, Handmade Burger Co and Coast 2 Coast at the new Clocktower dining area at intu Victoria Centre, which opened in October last year as part of the £40m remodelling works at the centre.
“We have always been very keen that Clocktower dining brings something new to the city, rather than taking away from the high street, and we’re really pleased to be able to bring yet another new name to Nottingham in Stonebaked Pizza Co,” added Nigel.
“The offering at intu Victoria Centre has never been better and it is always great to see those restaurants that have already opened here full of customers enjoying themselves both during the day and at night time.”
Ian Morgan, managing director at Stonebaked Pizza Co, added: “This is the fast casual artisan pizza concept featuring our lighter than air crust, chef-driven recipes and high quality ingredients and we are delighted as part of our expansion to be opening at intu Victoria Centre.
“Our mission is simple – we are driven to providing the very best, premium quality, custom built artisan pizza at an affordable price served with a ‘say yes’ philosophy and a big smile in cool, casual surroundings. We are very excited about bringing Stonebaked Pizza Co to Nottingham.”
Director at Nottingham-based commercial property consultancy FHP, Alan Pearson oversaw the deal.
He said: “Stonebaked Pizza Co is the latest in a string of brand new restaurants and stores that have been brought into Nottingham at intu Victoria Centre over recent months, complementing what the city already has to offer and enhancing the mix.”
A number of new jobs will be created at Stonebaked Pizza Co and anyone interested in applying should visit www.intu.co.uk/victoriacentre/jobs.
