Hungry Nottingham food connoisseurs can travel the world, all without leaving the dining table, thanks to COSMO Authentic World Kitchen
The eat all you want buffet restaurant on Milton Street in the City, offers dishes from more than 10 different countries, including Japan, China, Brazil and Italy. Serving up the most authentic flavours of the world. With more than 150 dishes on offer, NottinghamLIVE put on our elasticated trousers and went along to sample some of their World cuisine for ourselves.
At just £14.99 per person, you can’t really go wrong, it offers exceptional value for money, at one set price. With so many different dishes to choose from, the only problem is deciding what to try. One visit is never enough to get the full experience. The beauty is though is that you can have as little or as much as you fancy. The restaurant was certainly busy for Tuesday night and caters for all ages from faddy children to your fussy traditional eating senior citizen. Some diners had plates piled high, I went for the small plate try more option.
Most of the food was faultless. It’s a hard task to serve so many dishes at the same time and to suit everybody’s palate, but they really do a fantastic job. Each dish is expertly created in small amounts to ensure that they are always fresh. We found each dish we tried to be piping hot too. As well as the buffet style options, Live Cooking Stations provide unique dishes cooked in front of you, as well as entertainment! The food is said to rival high end buffet restaurants more commonly found in five star hotels. and I would say that the range of food and quality on offer, is better than some hotels I have stayed in.
Take a look at our gastronomic journey, which included fresh tasty sushi, beautifully spiced Indian starters, delicious Pork and Prawn balls, rich shredded duck, flavoursome noodles, the list goes on…not to mention the heavenly desserts.
