STUART BROAD’S PUB THE THREE CROWNS, WYMESWOLD TO LAUNCH KIDS EAT FREE OFFER ON SUNDAYS
The Three Crowns, Wymeswold have taken the decision to offer a kids portion Sunday Roast for free to all children under 12, accompanied by a full paying adult on Sundays throughout November.
Dan Cramp, co-founder of The Cat & Wickets Pub Company which operates the pub said: “We are building a great reputation for our Sunday Roast here at The Three Crowns. Now the cold weather is in full swing we are fully booked most Sundays as people like the idea of a nice hearty roast and a glass of red or a local ale by the fire”
Andy Dann, head chef at The Three Crowns added: “We have noticed in the last couple of years that increasing numbers of young families are moving to the village. We pride ourselves on being the community pub in Wymeswold and therefore decided that this would be a nice gesture to the village and also the many who travel to us from further afield.”
Sunday roasts at The Three Crowns are made fresh on site using local produce. Diners can chose from three different meats with all the trimmings and if you are particularly hungry, the “Crownsie” which offers a combination of meats. All Sunday roasts are topped off with a huge Yorkshire pudding! The menu also usually contains vegetarian and vegan options as well as one or two others for those who do not fancy a roast.
Stuart Broad, director and himself, a regular Sunday roast attendee added: “I love nothing more than cosying up in the corner of The Three Crowns, watching the football on a Sunday afternoon, with some roast beef, a glass of red and family all around me. Hopefully this offer helps more families to join us and do the same.”
The Three Crowns serves food 12.30-8.30pm Monday to Saturday including a hugely popular pie night on Tuesdays (£8.95), Steak and Malbec night (50% off Malbec when ordering a steak) on Thursdays and a hearty roast 12-5pm on Sundays.
