Wednesday 15th March saw some of city’s finest restaurateurs and food writers gather together for the exciting launch of this years Nottingham Post Food and Drink Awards.
Following on from the success of last years awards, the launch at the beautiful historic Malt Cross on St James Street, saw over 200 guests tuck into fabulous food from Piemiester, Doughnotts and Bidvest.
Nominations are now pouring in for the much sought after awards. The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony, hosted by celebrity chef Aldo Zilli on 22nd June at the East Midlands Conference Centre.
Sponsored by Fraser Brown, there are 14 categories this year which include two new awards for Best City Experience and Best Bar None in which the public are able to vote. Other categories are:

Best Asian
Best Out of Town
Best Public House
Outstanding Service
Best Young Chef
Best Fine Dining
Best Overall
