After the huge success of their sell-out show in the summer THE GILDED MERKIN returns for its final show of 2013 this weekend and they’re certainly seeing the year out with a bang.
VICKY BUTTERFLY is described as part burlesque starlet, part innovative performance artist and all dreamer and this September marked her 10th anniversary in burlesque. Vicky has appeared around the world and in top fashion magazines, music videos and stadium projections for the likes of The Verve and Kings of Leon. With a background in dance and opera, as well as training in theatre design, Vicky’s shows are always sure to include a range of spectacular costumes, concepts and props; she has even performed floating on water.
Glasgow born BEAU ROCKS combines glamour with a pinch of girl next door calamity; with cute sass, a flirty smile and an unmistakably naughty sparkle in her eyes Beau will thrill and enthrall you with her raunchy style. Beau is also a fully trained fashion designer, with a full BA (Hons) to her name and designs all her own fabulous costumes and rocks.

With over ten years experience and blending a feel of acting and dance to present a stylish show MISSY MALONE is a highly accomplished and sought after performer on the burlesque scene. With a range of skills and talents ranging from traditional fan dance to striptease and also trained in both static trapeze and stilt walking you are always guaranteed a performance to remember when Missy Malone takes to the stage.

DES O’CONNER (no not THAT one) is an internationally renowned, award winning composer, lyricist and performer with over twenty years experience in cabaret, comedy and musical theatre. A regular performer at clubs in London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin and New York, as well as acclaimed appearances at the New York Burlesque Festival have seen Des earn a loyal fan base. He’s also the co-creator of Scot Mills The Musical for Radio 1 and has presented for MTV at both Bestival and The Big Chill festivals.
Described as “saucy, sassy and very very silly” SNAPPY O’SHEA performs shows that are largely comic, sometimes ridiculous and regularly bawdy, relying on a healthy dose of audience participation and more than a hint of mischief to present a hugely entertaining show.
THE TOM SHOW is a one man entertainment machine equally at home on the stage or on the street. Self taught and polite, Tom mixes high skill stunts, dead pan humour and a touch of the surreal in a mission to make you smile and laugh.
Plus Nottingham’s very own “rock and roll red head” and the lady behind the Merkin, SCARLETT DAGGERS will be on hand to thrill you with a saucy set – with the added bonus of fire.
