Expect horror, sci-fi and cult classics this autumn as the ace Mayhem Film Festival returns to Nottingham’s Broadway Cinema. This year marks the events coming of age as it hits 18 and will run from 13-16 October.
Organisers are promising the biggest ever edition of the festival to date, with co-director Chris Cooke saying “We’re looking forward to bringing you together for the most anticipated and exciting examples of the genre, special guests and more”.
As well as announcing the dates for this years event, the Festival is also also opening the call for short films for this years event. Having started as a short film event the format is still at the heart of the festival and they are looking for horror, sci-fi and cult short films, produced after 1 January 2021 and that run under 22 minutes – for more information and to find out how to submit a movie click here.
