Music: Billy Ocean announces date at The Royal Concert Hall Nottingham 6 April 2017

 

Following the announcement of his UK headline tour British Soul icon Billy Ocean has added a further two dates due to high demand. Billy will perform at Grimsby Auditorium on 6^th April and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on 28^th April with tickets on sale 10am Friday 26^thAugust.

 

With the release of his latest album ‘Here You Are: The Best Of Billy Ocean’ soaring tonumber 4, Billy celebrated his highest charting album since 1989. The ‘Caribbean Queen’star is Britain’s biggest selling black artist of all time, with a string of multiplatinum hits. Announcing a huge run of UK headline dates for 2017 Billy Ocean will perform all of his greatest hits from the new album and favourite tracks.

The 2CD set features a personal collection of Billy’s interpretations of songs which helped the young Leslie Charles become the Billy Ocean we all know today, alongside a career spanning celebration of his biggest hits.

Billy said: “I’m humbled by the success of this album am grateful that people continue to find joy in my music. I have so many people to thank, but I owe this one to my fans.”
