Fans around the world responded in droves to the call out for ‘good vibes’ clips of their everyday lives after original plans for the shoot had to be shelved due to the lockdown. The result is a life-affirming video of people getting on with their daily lives in quarantine from dancing and singing to exercising and doing DIY!
Rob explains: “The whole idea of the song is about having a positive mental attitude to get you through the hard times. Even though this song was written before we went into lockdown, it certainly strikes a chord with the times now and I hope it brings a big dollop of positivity to everyone.
“I’ve heard from so many people saying how much they enjoyed getting involved filming from their kitchens, garages, gardens and parks. It just shows we’re all in this together and with a positive mental attitude, we can get through this together too.”
Mental health advocates keen to be part of the song’s positive message also feature including ex NBA player John Amaechi, Game of Thrones/Worst Witch actor Bella Ramsey, Leeds Rhinos captain Stevie Ward and Bodyguard actor Anjli Mohindra.
Life Goes On is an autobiographical take on resilience, drive and moving forward positively making it the perfect song for the times despite being written and recorded last year before the virus struck. Produced by Glen Scott (Shawn Mendez, Eric Bibb) LIFE GOES ON is an anthemic call for positivity in the face of adversity.
