The second single to be taken from their debut album, Architecture, ‘You’re Mine’ wastes little time in establishing itself as archetypal ist ist. Almost instantly a motoric drumbeat propels the track forward with an incessant freneticism that refuses to let up, entwining with bass and synth to create a bottom end that’s equal parts understated and enthralling. Obviously firm believes in the “less is more” mantra, even frontman Adam Houghton’s are somewhat understated, though typically sonorous and always impactful in their delivery.
