Nottingham based agency brings home two major awards at European Search Awards 2019
Nottingham based agency Impression has been crowned the winner of two categories of the European Search Awards 2019, proving once again that Nottingham’s digital industry is thriving on the international stage.
The awards, which showcase excellence in the digital marketing industry, were announced on Thursday at a black tie event in Budapest, Hungary. Shortlisted agencies from across Europe gathered to celebrate the winners and enjoy a party at the prestigious Vigado Concert Hall. Impression was named the winner of two awards; Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign and Best SEO Campaign in the Health Sector.
Speaking of their win, Laura Hampton, Head of Digital PR at Impression, said:
“The European Search Awards are a prestigious event in the digital industry and to win not one but two awards is fantastic.
“We invest heavily in our team, committing budget and time to training, wellbeing and a wide range of tools that we believe play an integral role in the measurable success of our campaigns. We’re really proud of the approach we take, combining creativity with technology and data to achieve some really impactful gains and it’s great to have that recognised.”
Impression was previously named the Best Large SEO Agency in the UK, Best Large SEO Agency in Europe and Best Small PPC Agency in Europe. In March this year, their paid advertising team brought home two awards from the UK Biddable Media Awards for Best Use of Shopping and Best Finance Campaign.
Impression’s clients include Cancer Research UK and Giant Bikes. The agency, proud of its Nottingham roots, also continues to work with a number of Nottinghamshire based businesses and supports local organisations including universities, schools and the Creative Quarter.
Impression’s Head of SEO Pete Jovetic commented:
“Winning the Best Large SEO Agency award last year was incredible and really rewarded the investment we’ve made in our team, showcasing the fact that we have great people and a great culture. To bring home these campaign awards says that we’re great at achieving award-winning results too, and that’s something we can all be proud of.”
Tom Craig, co-founder at Impression, said:
“Our team is our most important asset by far and for us, investing in them is essential. We want everyone who works with us to feel supported, developed and to have fun in their jobs.
“While winning awards is absolutely not our core purpose, it is a great way to recognise the hard work and achievement of our colleagues and to showcase the skills we have as a business. It’s great to be representing Nottingham’s growing digital scene on the international stage and we hope it brings more colleagues and clients into the area too.”
