Nottingham based digital marketing agency Impression has been shortlisted 11 times in the prestigious European Search Awards.
The awards – shortlists for which were announced on Friday – recognise exceptional work in digital marketing and include agencies from across the EU. Impression is shortlisted in 9 categories, including Best Large PPC Agency, Best Large SEO Agency and Best Integrated Search Agency.
Speaking of the awards, Impression’s founder Aaron Dicks said: “The digital industry is at an exciting phase where online marketing techniques are no longer considered a nice-to-have, but a must-have – playing an essential role in any business growth strategy. We’re thrilled to be working with some incredible companies here in the UK and overseas, and very proud of the work of our highly talented team, which has led to these nominations as well as significant growth for our clients’ businesses.”
Impression is based in Nottingham city centre just off the Market Square, and has always prided itself on its Nottinghamshire roots. Impression’s co-founder Tom Craig explained why they chose Nottingham as their base:
“Nottingham was always somewhere we’d enjoyed visiting and when it came to founding our own agency, we took note of the breadth of opportunities available to support entrepreneurs in the city. We set up in November 2012 and since then, have really appreciated the networking, funding and educational benefits of being located here. We’ve also employed a lot of exceptionally talented people from the local area, including local universities, and would recommend Notts to any aspiring entrepreneur.”
Impression is one of two Nottingham based agencies to be shortlisted, with Hallam, based at the Clock Tower in Nottingham, being shortlisted 5 times.
With investment into the digital sector ongoing, Nottingham is growing its digital profile and awards like these play an important role in recognising the Notts digital scene.
