The Great Notts Show returns to Nottingham’s Old Market Square for another year and this year it’s the shows 5th Birthday! The event celebrates all things ‘Great’ about Nottinghamshire, including food, drink, live music, crafts, arts and more!
Last year over 120,000 people descended on The Old Market Square and the surrounding areas to enjoy what the show, which is now sponsored by Central College, MANGO, Robin Hood Energy, Leaders and Deliveroo, had to offer.
Chris Stephenson, Marketing and Communications Manager at Central College has said:
“Central College Nottingham is again proud to be a sponsor of the Great Notts Show. Last year we showcased our courses to thousands of people and this time around there will be some new activities for people to get involved in. It’s a brilliant event to be involved in promoting all this is good about Nottingham and we are looking forward to help celebrate the Show’s fifth birthday!”
Mr. MANGO also commented saying:
“‘Over the last 5 years the Great Notts Show has grown into a fantastic event that celebrates the best that Nottinghamshire has to offer. MANGO has been the county’s favourite travel card for nearly 8 years so we’re pleased to be partnering with a local show and supporting the community. The Old Market Square is at the heart of the city so getting to the event on the bus or tram with your MANGO will be cheap and easy. I have lots of treats lined up for MANGO customers at the event, and one lucky person will be winning a year’s free bus & tram travel! I can’t wait to see you all there.”
With up to 100 stalls selling a variety of foods such as hog roasts, burgers, nachos, jewellery and lots more will be spread over Market Square, there will be some much going off for everyone to enjoy.
There will be seated bar areas, real ale bars and an array of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer, for the adults to try out. With live music, as you drink in the sunshine, from some of Nottinghamshire’s best and upcoming talent provided by I’m Not From London, is there anything better?
So make sure you are in Nottingham around the Old Market Square from the 22nd to the 25th September to help Nottingham celebrate everything that is ‘great’ about the county!
