Prepare to return to the wizarding world of Harry Potter this month through taking part in magical activities at intu Victoria Centre (31 July), to celebrate the launch of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Muggles from across Nottingham are being encouraged to dress-up and celebrate all things Potter during the launch, with free face painting on offer from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 31 July.
Eager Potter fans who have pre-ordered the book will be able to collect their copies at midnight on Sunday 31 July before the normal Sunday trading day commences at the centre.
Nicola McCabe, marketing manager for intu in Nottingham said: “We are thrilled to be hosting magical celebrations at the centre to mark the launch of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The world of Harry Potter brings together people of all ages and we want to see everyone in their very best wizarding dress!
“We will have a dedicated Harry Potter-themed face painter on hand throughout the day and we cannot wait to see their magical creations – both in real life and on social media!”
There is still time for shoppers to secure their copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in advance of the launch. To pre-order a copy of the book shoppers will need to visit WH Smiths and pay for their copy before the event.
