LEADING children’s charity, Dreams Come True, has received a donation of over £10,000 from Nottingham business UHY Hacker Young, which has supported the charity throughout 2016 through a busy calendar of fundraising events.
Throughout 2016, UHY Hacker Young employees from across the country took part in a number of fundraising events, including: fundraising days, marathons, cake sales and obstacle courses – with the firm’s Nottingham team even hosting an ‘orange and purple’ day, where staff were encouraged to dress up in the charity’s colours to help raise money.
Simon Browning, partner at UHY Hacker Young, said: “Supporting good causes is something that is really important to us as a business, so we were delighted our team in Nottingham has helped the firm to raise over £10,000 in total!
“Dreams Come True is an amazing children’s charity that works hard to enrich the lives of children and young people with serious and life-limiting conditions aged between two and 21 years old. We are so proud to have supported them throughout 2016 and look forward to continue raising funds and awareness in 2017.”
