Nottingham students are being invited to celebrate the start of the academic year at intu Victoria Centre this evening.
intu Victoria Centre’s student night will give them the chance to take advantage of exclusive discounts and deals from over 40 of the shopping centre’s top retailers and restaurants, such as Topshop, Superdry, Urban Outfitters and River Island.
There will also be free entertainment including live DJ sets from Capital East Midlands weekend presenter Ryan Arnold and live music including performances by the music students from Nottingham Academy.
The event which takes place at intu Victoria Centre from 6pm is run exclusively for local students every year. It is one in a number of student nights being held at intu shopping centres up and down the country which last year attracted more than 120,000 students in total.
Nigel Wheatley, general manager at intu Victoria Centre said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of students to intu Victoria Centre for this year’s student night where as well as being treated to some fantastic live entertainment, they’ll be able to make the most of the exclusive discounts and deals on offer.
“Thanks to intu’s national scale, we’ve been able to team up with some of the country’s best known brands and fantastic live acts from across the region to give the city’s student population a night to remember.”
Students eager to grab bargains will need to pre-register for the event, which is being held in partnership with UNiDAYS. Students can follow the fun across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #intustudentnight and enter exclusive competitions on the night.
Capital East Midland weekend presenter Ryan Arnold says, “Student Night at intu Victoria Centre is always huge for Nottingham – and I’m so excited to be part of it! I’ll be playing Capital’s biggest tunes and club anthems that students are loving on nights out!
