Thousands of shoppers visited Nottingham’s intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh this weekend for their fourth annual summer extravaganza, Everyone’s Invited. The weekend was jam packed with free family activities including live music and vibrant parades taking place across both centres.
At intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham Forest Football in the Community tested shoppers’ reflexes with their ‘foot sharp’ game, restaurants in Clocktower dining showed off the best of their menus with free samples and students from Nottingham Academy and Take One Dance Studios wowed the crowds with flash mob style performances. Meanwhile at intu Broadmarsh children could enjoy free fun with bowling, face painting, storytelling and maypole dancing.
Nicola McCabe, marketing manager at intu in Nottingham, said: “We wanted to celebrate the summer in style at Everyone’s Invited and we were delighted to welcome thousands of families to enjoy our host of free activities across the two centres. Everyone’s Invited is about bringing the local communities together and we were really pleased Nottingham Forest in the Community, Take One Dance Studios and Nottingham Academy joined us for a fun weekend”.
