As the reality of winter dawns upon us all there is never a better time to escape to the warmth of the theatre to cheer yourself up and the line up for November at The Royal Concert Hall has something for everyone.
Performing on Monday 9th November are Britain’s Got Talent dance troop Diversity. Tickets available from £25.
Up next on Wednesday 11th November David Hasslehoff in the musical, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life addressing the issue of being a single parent, with a twist, he is a DJ and its set in Ibiza! If you love a bit of cheese then this is the show for you…
On Thursday 12th and 19th Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse take over the hall reviving their classic comedy characters from the past 25 years, live on stage for the first time.
Continuing the comedy is Frankie Boyle on Friday 13th with his Hurt Like You’ve Never Been Loved Tour.
For the more traditional amongst you The RAF perform in concert for the Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary on Saturday 14th.
You can be transported back to the sixties on Wednesday 18th with the Sensational 60’s Experience. Featuring: Chris Farlowe, Herman’s Hermits, Steve Ellis, New Amen Corner and Union Gap, hosted by Alan Mosca. Tickets from £25.
On Friday 20th the retro theme going is kept going with a throwback to the eighties from GO WEST AND NIK KERSHAW with special guests T’Pau.
Keeping the collaborations coming on Saturday 21st is Jools Holland with special guest KT Tunstall also accompanied by Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Jools’ Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.
An interesting fusion from Ireland comes to Nottingham on Sunday 22nd. Celtic Woman is a 15-member female ensemble that includes bagpipers, Irish dancers and the Aontas Choir, under the direction of music producer David Downes.
Ahead of the new Star Wars film comes the Star Wars Saga performed by City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra featuring John Williams’ greatest scores from Star Wars Episodes 1 to 6. Monday 23rd.
On Thursday 26th Will Young returns, with support from Lemar.
The last performance of the month, on Friday 27th, comes from Prague Symphony Orchestra performing Smetana’s Sarka, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, Sibelius’s First Symphony.
