Michele Somers Nottingham  – NTIA Regional Ambassador

“I am thrilled to announce my appointment as a NTIA Ambassador for Nottingham alongside James. This role presents both unique opportunities and also challenges as Nottingham, like a lot of councils, has to navigate its way through bankruptcy and the reduction of services.”

“As NTIA ambassadors myself and James are committed to keeping the Nighttime economy thriving. We are looking forward to collaborating with local authorities, business owners, and community stakeholders to champion Nottingham’s nightlife and ensure our night time economy continues to be a source of pride and prosperity, while advocating for safety, sustainability, and growth.”

James Slater Nottingham – NTIA Regional Ambassador

“I very much look forward to representing Nottingham as an NTIA Ambassador and ensuring that our city continues to grow and evolve to be one of the most celebrated in the UK. In the same breath, we must ensure the protection of our unique characteristics and shine a spotlight on our nuisances and specific local challenges. “

“Nottingham’s representation by the NTIA is a positive and progressive step in increasing our city’s visibility amongst policy makers and the UK’s key players. Showcasing Nottingham’s culture, supporting businesses, and ensuring that the city’s voice is heard on the national stage. This also brings with it more opportunities for information sharing, as well as celebrating our home-grown successes and initiatives, whilst growing our ability to share these with our wider networks for national consideration.”
