Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season delighted to be returning to the Theatre Royal for venue’s big birthday year
Tabs Productions and the Theatre Royal Nottingham are delighted to announce the return of the ever-popular Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season from 3 – 29 August 2015.

Now in its 27th consecutive year at the Theatre Royal, the Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season brings four weeks of chilling murder, intrigue and mystery to Nottingham throughout the month of August. The season opens with Jekyll and Hyde on Monday 3 August and runs for four weeks, with the company performing a different murder mystery or thriller each week, until Saturday 29 August.

Karen Henson, co-producer for Tabs Productions, has been returning to the Theatre Royal with the Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season since the 1980s, as have many of the actors who have become familiar faces in Nottingham each summer. With the Theatre Royal celebrating its 150th anniversary in September, Karen is delighted that the ‘Thriller Company’ will be part of such a special year for the venue; “We’ve been part of the Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season over four different decades now and the theatre is definitely wearing better than we are! There’s nothing like standing on that stage and looking out at the wonderful auditorium. There’s a warmth about the whole theatre, especially from the staff, who from upstairs to downstairs and even in the lady’s parlour, make you feel an important part of an awfully big adventure. Many, many happy returns, Theatre Royal! Long may you reign.”
