Continuing on with our extensive Dot to Dot preview – you can check out our previews of Rock City, Rescue Rooms and Stealth/Bodega/Jamcafe here we move across town to two venues in Hockley that are hosting a huge array of great acts on Sunday.
Brew Dog
Brew Dog, based next door to the Broadway Cinema, is, in it’s own words “a post punk apocalyptic mother f***er of a craft brewery” and this Sunday will also be home to a selection of great Nottingham acts as part of the Dot to Dot Festival.
Starting things off, at 4pm is talented singer-songwriter JOE SLATER, followed by the acoustic ska/folk punk of SHANKLAND.
Insanely fun ska boys ARSE FULL OF CHIPS will be whipping up a storm when they takeover the stage at 7pm and there sets are always ones to remember, before the brilliant celtic folk rock six piece FEROCIOUS DOG wrap things up in true Irish party style.

Jamcafe
Jamcafe is always one of the most pumped up venues on the Nottingham scene and known for putting on some of the finest gigs and we’re sure Sunday will be no different as it joins in with the Dot to Dot fun and what a line up they have for you.
There’s soothing acoustic beauty to kick things off with ROSANNA O’BRIEN at 4pm while JOY MUMFORD will wow those there with her mix of acoustic folk and soul when she takes to the Jamcafe stage at 8pm.
Coventry born, Nottingham based duo SHELTER POINT are on at 8pm before a set by the truly brilliant WE ARE AVENGERS, this trip hop, soul six piece fronted by the fabulous Emily Rachel Martin are one of the most enjoyable acts in Nottingham, if you haven’t seen them live yet then get down to Jamcafe at 9pm on Sunday and put that right.
Finally wrapping things off at Jamcafe are the Jazz gang JIALLO JAZZ BAND ensuring Jamcafe’s Dot to Dot party goes out in style.
