What is better than watching 80’s family-friendly classic E.T The Extra-Terrestrial, on the big screen? How about watching it on a big screen accompanied by a FULL ORCHESTRA.

Will this Saturday you have the chance to experience just that at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall which will be showing Steven Spielberg’s heart-warming masterpiece accompanied by a magnificent, live performance of the International Film Orchestra.
One of the most beloved family-movies of all time the film follows the moving story of a lost little alien who befriends a 10-year old boy named Elliot. Now you can experience, once again, this magical movie complete with John Williams’ Academy Award-wining score performed live by a full symphony, conducted by Matthew Hopkins.
This promises to be a wonderful and unique way to enjoy this classic movie – just remember that, unlike the title character himself, you should definitely NOT be phoning home during the performance.
This event is a part of Nottingham’s Soundstage Festival, celebrating the music of film, TV, and gaming from 22 March to 5 April.
