Shalamar came to entertain Nottingham last weekend at the Royal Concert Hall. It was a full house and you could tell the crowd were really looking forward to a good night. However, Shalamar were half an hour late starting and they only sang a couple of songs that everyone knew. Having said that they did sing very well and were vocally on point.
The atmosphere was disappointingly lacking at times, which was probably due to the limited interaction with the crowd. However, this didn’t stop the audience with everyone up swaying and clapping. Although, having said that, I did spot some people leaving before the show had even ended.
Shalamar made me feel good but wasn’t completely a night to remember.
