Splendour: Stage times announced

Stage times have announced for this year’s Splendour and with tickets selling faster than ever and high hopes of scorching weather it promises to be a fantastic day for all the family.

This year’s festival is more Nottingham-tastic than ever before with a huge collection fantastic Nottingham artists performing across the three music stages throughout the day – headed up by the city’s new music superstar, and number one album selling artist – JAKE BUGG.

JAKE wraps things up on the main stage with an hour long set kicking off at 9.30pm, where you’re sure to here hits such as Two Fingers, Lightning Bolt and Broken.

Other Nottingham acts on the main stage through the day will be Future Sound of Nottingham winners THE GORGEOUS CHANS, who kick the whole festival off at 12.00pm, new musical sensation INDIANA follows at 1.30pm and the always fun DOG IS DEAD will be on stage at 4.30pm.

The main stage will also see sets from JACK SAVORETTI (2.30pm), NINA NESBITT (3.30pm), KT TUNSTELL (5.45pm) and SQUEEZE (7.30pm).

Meanwhile over on the Jagermeister Stage the excellent Celtic/Folk Rock outfit FEROCIOUS DOG will start things off at 1pm, followed by man of the moment SAINT RAYMOND at 2pm and the brilliant ROB GREEN at 3. PARK BENCH SOCIETY and KAGOULE wrap up the Nottingham acts on the second stage at 4pm and 5.15pm respectively.

PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT (6.30pm) and MAXIMO PARK (8.30) round things up with headlining sets.

The Courtyard stage will, as always, be the showcase of great upcoming Nottingham acts, courtesy of the folks at NCN and LeftLion, Future Sound of Nottingham runner up SAM JONES is first up at 12.30pm, followed by the brilliant ONEGIRLONEBOY at 1.30pm. There will be great acoustic sets from RYAN THOMAS and GEORGE ROSE at 2,30 and 3.30pm before the excellent INJURED BIRDS take to the stage at 4.30pm.

JOEL BAKER, who has been getting a lot of national airplay love, will be on stage at 6.30pm followed by soul sensation HARLEIGHBLU at 7.30pm.

There will also be sets from GAVIN JAMES (6.30pm) and RYAN KEEN (8.30pm) on the Courtyard Stage.

Add to that the Comedy Stage, stalls, fairground rides and children’s entertainment, bars and even a VIP garden and this promises to be one of the Nottingham musical events of the summer.
