Bowden Consultants has pledged its support to Nottingham Rugby this season after sponsoring the club’s new head coach, Ian Costello.
The land and development specialists, who have been based in the city for more than 50 years, become the latest corporate sponsors to back the Greene King IPA Championship squad ahead of the new season that kicks off next month at Lady Bay.
Managing director, David Bowden, said: “We are really pleased to be backing Nottingham Rugby this season – it is a really family friendly, community club that we have been very proud to support for more than a decade.
“Not only does the first XV squad put on a great show, and we are hoping that with Ian at the helm this is going to be a successful season for the Green and Whites, but the club also works incredibly hard to bring on young talent through its academy and links with Nottingham Trent University.
“Ian has a fantastic pedigree and we are very excited for the new season and to see what our squad has to offer.”
Nottingham Rugby chairman, Alistair Bow added: “Our sponsors and supporters are what makes this club such a special one and we are delighted that Bowden Consultants has signed up to sponsor Ian this season.
“We are really looking forward to the start of the new season and knowing we have the support of our sponsors really gives us all a boost.”
Nottingham Rugby kicks off its Greene King IPA Championship season at Lady Bay on 4 September against London Scottish (ko 3pm).
