This new production will be directed by Rupert Hill whose directing credits include Leatherbird, Molehills, and Rolling with the Punches. Rupert is also an actor, best known for his role as Jamie Baldwin in Coronation Street. He has been a previous cast member in THE FULL MONTY stage production.
Robert Jones (National Theatre and RSC) designs the production with choreography by Ian West (The Blues Brothers and The Play What I Wrote), lighting by Colin Grenfell (theatre award winner for Black Watch) and sound by Luke Swaffield (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time).
THE FULL MONTY, about six out-of-work, impoverished steelworkers from Sheffield with nothing to lose, took the world by storm and has become one of Britain’s most successful shows. Based on his highly acclaimed, smash-hit film, this stage adaptation by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy is a hilarious and heartfelt production, which receives standing ovations every night. The play features the iconic music from the film, by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
