Set to be an institution in the food industry and help raise funds for 2 amazing charities, The Great British Cookbook will feature 200 tasty dishes from 200 talented chefs covering 10 regions of Great Britain.

Launching on 20th November 2014, the first ever online Great British cook book will raise money for Hospitality Action and The MacMillan Cancer Support

The book will celebrate our very diverse culture, uncovering extraordinary dishes served up in the 100s of restaurants, hotels and pubs from all four corners of our great nation.
Also featured is seasonal produce, growers, suppliers and articles on bakers, fishmongers and butchers, with Nottingham’s own King of the Sausage, Johnny Pusztai taking the reigns.johnny pusztai
The book will showcase some of the finest culinary talent with featured chefs including Rick Stein OBE, Anna Hansen MBE, Michael Caines MBE, Galton Blackiston, Richard Corrigan and Mark Jordon. Recipes will be accompanied by beautiful photography and biographies of each of the chefs.
£200,000 is set to be raised by Christmas with all proceeds from the £12 e-book download going directly to the charities and split equally.

It costs MacMillan £8 for an assessment pack that enables a cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist to assess and care plan the needs of 100 people with cancer. £52,720 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for a year, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.

With £100 Hospitality Action could cover a month of heating for one of their beneficiaries who is suffering from a life threatening illness. £2,500 would buy a mobility scooter for a disabled beneficiary, giving them back their independence.

By lending your support they could hit the 20,000 download target they’ve set to provide so much more!

GBCB will be seen by over 10 million on Twitter alone. This is before the regional, national media and GBCB support campaign kicks in on the build up too; the GBCB E-Book Download Friday on December 19th making this the ideal gift for the foodie in your life or as a treat for yourself.
