As someone who has been to a few children’s theatre shows, I wasn’t holding my breath with this one at Nottingham Theatre Royal this week. However, I was initially impressed with the shows Alexander Armstrong. He not only took on the role of narrator well, but was almost him.
The show is set in several parts, they way it was cleverly done gave the opportunity for the children to be included in the show. I won’t give away too many spoilers, but the children were given a sheet at the beginning to involve them throughout.
The space section is by far the best part by a mile. I was captured by this and had a great time learning and having fun.
Afterwards there were all of your favourite characters which do not let you down. Yes there is even a visit from a certain stick.
It was so good, my 2 year old is still talking about this show!
