We’ve made little secret of what big fans we are of JOSH KEMP, ever since he came on the NottinghamLIVE Radio Show back in it’s early days we’ve been following him and catching his gigs as often as possible. So it’s safe to say we were excited by the release of his brand new music video for Stupid Cupid.
It’s a hugely enjoyable video that follows a ‘cupid’ character who is trying – and seemingly failing – to bring about true love at what appears to be a rather classy rooftop/penthouse party (the fact that moments before arriving at the party he appears to be in Sandiacre may well be a little creative licensing on the artists part).
Josh himself says of the video:
“The idea for the video came from the tongue in cheeky concept of the song, after watching the breakdown of two of my friends relationship, i really liked the idea that cupid was just incompetent which is when the idea for the video started to form!”
As for Josh, it seems he is keeping as busy as ever:
“I’ve been in the studio writing new stuff the last 6 months after a pretty turberlent few months the gigs and releases calmed down, but with 2 ep releases coming up and a huge tour coupled with 30 festivals this summer, I’m back”
You can catch Josh next performing at the YNot Festival on the Hog & Barrel Stage, this Saturday, for more information check out our full Nottingham act preview here
