Nonsuch Studios, Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham NG1 1EH
Nottingham Makers and Vintage Markets focus on supporting local, small business and encouraging people to shop locally and support the local economy. 80% of the stallholders are based in Nottinghamshire and 50% live within three miles of the venue.
You’ll be able to find handcrafted and vintage clothing, accessories, jewellery, furniture, homeware, original artworks and prints, toys, toiletries, food and much more filling the four large studios that makeup Nonsuch Studios. Handcrafted and vintage goods provide great value for money as the quality of the materials and making process produce high-quality items that are one-off pieces or in limited quantities for similar prices to the mass-produced items on the high street.
In addition to all the stalls, there’ll also be live printing from artist Karoline Rerrie to show how she creates her work. Beeston based community group Bee Creative will be running two different workshops throughout the day, for which places can be booked in advance. Local artist Kim Thompson will be offering quick portrait sessions and there’ll be great food from the Nonsuch Kitchen.
The first Nottingham Makers and Vintage Market takes place on Saturday 5th October in a great new venue, Nonsuch Studios in Nottingham city centre situated between Hockley and Sneinton Market on Lower Parliament Street.
